Four points that you must be familiar with when fishing six-line fish. After the beginning of spring, it is a good season for fishing. At this moment, the anglers can't wait to carry their fishing gear. The fish fans on the coast either cast poles on the shore or took a boat to raise the line around the islands or reefs, or took a "circle" raft and started a passionate collision with the six-line fish. How to catch hexaline fish on the beach or reef in spring? Based on my personal fishing practice for many years, I will talk about four familiarity points that should be done to catch a good hexalin.

1. Familiar with the habits of yellow croaker, choose a fishing spot

There are roughly three types of six-line fish:

1) One is Otaki Six-line fish

Larger ones have a body length of 40 cm and the back side of the body is generally yellowish brown, so it is referred to as yellow croaker in Dalian, Qingdao and other places. And because of this, fish have the characteristics of "going into the countryside and doing whatever they like". Once they live in a certain area for a long time, they change to dark brown or purplish red according to the color of the seabed plants, some have red mouths, and the whole body has an irregular black stripe pattern.

2) The second species is the long-line six-line fish.

The male and female of the fish are very easy to distinguish in appearance. The body surface of male fish is reddish brown or bright red, and there is an obvious black spot above the pectoral fin, while the female fish is light brown or yellowish brown. The body grows up to 70 cm, and most of the fish are 30-40 cm in length. The habit of the longline hexaline is basically the same as that of the Otaki hexaline, except that it inhabits deeper waters.

3) There is another species called bar-headed fish

It is also called yellow croaker, and it is called "purple hook" by Dalian fishermen. The fish's body is covered with many irregular white spots, dark brown or purple-black. This fish likes to live in shallow reef caves or under seaweed bushes, and is the main fish species for spring fishing. In short, familiarity with the habits of the six-line fish is a major prerequisite for choosing an ideal fishing spot.

2. Familiar with the tides and decide when to fish

The tide moves, the fish moves. The ups and downs of the tides are the external manifestations of sea water movement. For fish that use seawater as a carrier, in order to thrive, they must change from passive to active in their dealings with seawater, and strive to use their own timely feeding and hiding skills to achieve the purpose of supplementing energy for survival.

3. Be familiar with the temperature and decide the corresponding measures

The objective reality of seawater temperature is by no means an isolated existence in nature, and to a certain extent is restricted by temperature. The sea temperature directly affects the migration and eating of fish. The bar-headed fish in the hexalinidae does not do long-distance migration, that is, it stays in the rock cave where the tide cannot recede in the severe winter. Although it has great adaptability to cold water temperature, it is obviously different from the way of eating in summer and autumn water temperature. If you master the rules, you will be distinguished by fish and water temperature, and you will take targeted measures to catch good fish.

4. Familiar with the laws of the biological chain, there will be rich returns

To understand the biological chain, there are two situations that require attention: one is to pay attention to finding areas where plankton is dense. This is because areas with a lot of plankton are usually areas where small fishes, shrimps or larvae of sandworms go one after another, and big carnivorous fish want to hunt down "vulnerable groups" here. Generally speaking, the towering tidal back of the reef has areas where the waves are washed by the waves, and the water is full of dissolved oxygen. It is a treasured land of feng shui that everyone loves to patronize.
